Tourmalinated Quartz w Mala Bead

This Tourmalinated Quartz has been wrapped in copper wire. The wire was antiqued. A meticulous wire weaving pattern encases the stone up to a decorative wire weaving pattern securing a Mala bead in a very exquisitely wire wrapped weaving pattern which surrounds the bale. 
This piece is one of those copper pieces that can be worn on either side, meaning there is no right or wrong way of wearing it. The bale is quite decorative allowing the wearer to choose which side they would like to showcase. 
Tourmalinated Quartz is a clear rock crystal. The Crystal Quartz has grown together with the black tourmaline showing the strands of tourmaline running thru the quartz, hence “tourmalinated”. 
Tourmalinated Quartz is believed to protect the wearer from negative thoughts and emotions. This crystal is aligned with the zodiac signs Libra, Capricorn and Scorpio and is associated with the 6th, Third Eye or Brow Chakra. It is also believed to balance Yin and Yang energies and to release negative patterns.
